Original ELSENER soldier knife model 61, vintage 1965 with case. ELSENER - Military Knife Model 1961 Born 1965.

Specification: Handle plates Alox, silver - ribbed - with stamped Swiss silver cross (with integrated "+W-K" acceptance stamp) on one silver-coloured anodised aluminium handle plate half. Slotted screwdriver 3 mm (GR 0) - 5.

Slotted screwdriver 7.5 mm - 7. Dimensions: length 93 mm, width 23 mm, height 12.5 mm, weight 72 g. Ordonnance: 1961 (used by the Swiss Army from 1961 to 2008).

Condition: very good condition - knife comes from collection. Special feature: Swiss soldier's knife with acceptance stamp "+W-K" (weapon control) in half grip - model 1961 - version 1965 (silver anodized aluminium grip with stamped silver Swiss cross and integrated acceptance stamp "+W-K"), issue from 1965 to 1977. Additional information: This knife is a knife of the 1965 version, in which the handle shells have been replaced by silver-coloured shells compared to the previous version (red handle shells).

The Swiss cross with the acceptance stamp is positioned in the same way as the previous version, so that the writing "W-K" is aligned across the long side of the knife! This version was produced from 1965 to 1971. Please look at photos carefully for condition of item.
