MODEL DESCRIPTION: The Victorinox Fisherman Swiss Army Knife is now-retired model designed for anglers and fishing folks. The newer versions had a "happy fish" inlay, but this is a vintage version that predates that generation.
AGE NOTE:This is a vintage version from the mid to late-1960s. Every tool is different from the current model. This vintage knife includes a bale, a solid awl, and Pat on the can opener.
The bottle opener has a sharp edge on the inside curve, and the fish scale does not have a rule. The scissors are the older style with a straight spring, and an adjustable screw.
The small blade is clip-point, and the main blade has Victoria on the rear tang. The insignia is also gold-tinged. The Phillips screwdriver is partly squared, with a convenient nail file on the back edge.
Instead of a key ring, there is a bale on the end (aka bail, shackle). The original toothpick and tweezers were missing, so we added modern ones. The Victorinox Vintage Fisherman knife is 91mm (3½") long, about 26mm (1") wide, and 20mm (0.8) thick. This vintage version weighs about 107.6 grams (3.9 oz), and contains the following tools. Bottle Opener with Screwdriver Tip.Can Opener with Screwdriver Tip. Fish Scaler and Hook Remover Tip.
Phillips Screwdriver (with nail file). This link has more info about our used knife grades. They are much more expensive.
