The company got on firm ground in 1897 with the introduction of the 100mm "Officiers Knife", and its recognition as an international icon for quality built over the next 50 years. In 2009 there was a beautiful replica at the original 1891 Soldier's Knife to celebrate the company's 125th Anniversary. There are several older vintage 100mm knives by Victorinox that are not listed below. Most of these knives did not have individuall names, but were known by there model numbers, and sometimes a series name.
