1991 (or earlier) Vintage, Victorinox 1.3623 Swiss Army Knife - SAK. ONCE GONE, THEY ARE GONE FOREVER!

ID 1.3623, VERY RARE! This knife was not given an official name by Victorinox and, therefore, it got one by the SAK Collectors Community: Mechanic with Corkscrew (It was, indeed, an early Mechanic which got its Phillips Screwdriver swapped by a Corkscrew).

Also, this configuration had no precedent until the Victorinox Oath of Rutli was issued back in 1991 (please read below). COSMETICS: 30+ "Years New" item.

The Victorinox Oath of Rutli is a special collector's 91mm Swiss Army Knife that commemorates the historic Oath of the Swiss Confederacy at Rutli in 1291 (Rutlischwur). This model was released in 1991 to coincide with the 700th anniversary the founding of the Confederation. It was the seventh, and last, member of the Swiss Battle Series that commemorates the alliances and the battles that gave birth to the nation of Switzerland. The tool configuration resembles the Mechanic, but with a corkscrew, instead of a Phillips screwdriver, on the back.

91mm Victorinox 1.3623 - Pocket Knife 15 Function. Housing a wide range of popular tools from the Swiss Army line, the compact sized 1.3623 Pocket Knife is a highly versatile 15-function multi-tool from Victorinox. The core stainless steel construction is paired with red cellidor scales.

The knife features a large and small straight blade, pliers among other handy tools. Dimensions: 91.0 x 18mm, net weight 99gr, Scales material: Cellidor. The pliers -Type 2- present on this knife, were available ONLY from 1987 to 1990.
