The Orchid Violet Alox represents the 2016 edition and is punched from aluminum, embossed and then anodized in a subsequent process. You may not know that this Eloxal process uses anodic oxidation to create a protective layer which provides additional scale protection against damage and corrosion. These three models will be launched in a new color every year and the corresponding year is engraved on the back of the knife.
