MODEL DESCRIPTION: The Victorinox CampFlame Swiss Army knife is a rare, retired, standard sized 91mm / 3 1/2 Swiss Army knife. It has a wood saw, a piezoelectric butane lighter, and a set of basic tools. It's similar to the SwissFlame, which has scissors instead of a saw. Confusingly, both models used the same box which says SwissFlame on the front.
Both were withdrawn from all sales not long after their release, so they are very rare. Aside from its safety issues, the lighter was not very reliable. It mixes air with butane to make a hot blue flame, but the mechanism is finicky. Some people never get it to work. A great idea in theory but not in practice.
PACKAGING NOTE: New in original box, with product literature. Only slight shop wear on the "new old stock" box. The lighter is unused, and untested.
This was an unusual model that is a rare collectible, and you'll need to accept it as is. The Victorinox CampFlame knife is 91mm (3½") long, 26mm (1") wide, and 27mm (1.1) thick. It weighs about 134.3 grams (4.7 oz) without fuel. And contains the following tools. Medium Blade- 70mm (2 5/8).
Small Blade- 42mm (1 5/8). Can Opener with Screwdriver Tip.
Bottle Opener with Screwdriver Tip. They are much more expensive. The item "Victorinox CampFlame Swiss Army knife- retired, rare, new in box #6202" is in sale since Thursday, April 2, 2020.
