Victorinox Electrician Swiss Army knife- vintage, excellent 98 dated #7699

MODEL DESCRIPTION: The Victorinox Electrician Swiss Army knife is one of the few remaining standard sized 93mm / 3 1/2 Swiss Army knives. It has an electrician's blade and basic tools, in a ribbed aluminum alox body. AGE NOTE: This is an "old shield" model from the 1990s, with a large silver cross instead of the modern red insignia. These knives with dated blades are rare, which makes them popular among collectors.

This knife was probably manufactured in 1998 or 1999, using a leftover blade from the Soldier knives issued for 1998. The Victorinox Electrician knife is 93mm (3 1/2") long and 15.5mm (0.6") thick. This vintage knife weighs about 71.1 grams (2.5 oz).
