Victorinox Solo 108mm Swiss Army knife (red)- retired, new unboxed #A499

CONDITION: New in a brown vinyl sheath. Be warned that the 108mm models are too fat for the sheath, and they often break though the bottom! MODEL DESCRIPTION: The Victorinox Solo Swiss Army knife is a large, retired, 108mm / 4 3/8 Swiss Army knife that is part of the long-retired Safari series. It has just a blade, and no other tools.

The German Army Trooper was the first of the Safari knives, produced from the late 1970s until the early 2000s. There were 6 different tool configurations in the series. The Solo name has also been used for 93mm Alox knives with a smaller single blade.

The Victorinox Solo knife is 108mm (4 3/8") long, 28mm (1.1") wide, and 12mm (1/2) thick. It weighs about 50.6 grams (1.8 oz), and contains the following tools.
