Victorinox SOS Survival Kit Swiss Army knife 1.8812 Solitaire with original box

Up for sale is a real nice Swiss Army SOS Survival kit by Victorinox. Comes with the original box, does have the former owners name on the side, and is complete except for the sewing kit.

Overall it is good condition, the kit does show some condition issues from sitting on a shelf for years, the flashlight does have some residue from the carrying case faux leather stuff, but all the Velcro is good, safety pins do show some condition issues, not sure if the matches would work, but the heads are complete, flashlight does work and will come with a AAA battery, though it is not the newer LED, but it does work. Has the nylon string which looks like it was never used. Pencil still has the lead, looks to have never been used, and has the writing paper still folded. Compass looks great along with the signal mirror, and still has the original band aids, not sure I would use them. Pretty much all looks good, except no sewing kit with needles.

Includes all the paperwork that came with the kit. The box does show wear. The actual knife is a Swiss Champ, 1.6795, and is in pretty nice condition, scales are clean with no marks, not really sure it was every used, if it was very little. The SOS kit is not perfect, not pristine new in the box, but overall it is vintage and is a gem in the rough.
